Terms of Use

By registering for or using Trailr, you enter into a binding agreement with LightHouse Venture Studio. If you disagree with any portion of these Terms, you must discontinue using the platform.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Trailr. We verify date of birth during onboarding and systematically restrict signup for individuals under the minimum age requirement.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all actions taken under your account. You agree to provide genuine, accurate educational and profile details.

Trailr offers both free access and premium subscription tiers (“Trailr Pro”):

• Free Tier Limits: Free accounts are subject to fair-use thresholds, including a cap of three (3) active or total generated career trails and a limit of three (3) AI career suggestion refreshes per rolling seven-day window.
• Trailr Pro: Upgraded tiers unlock expanded trail allocations, priority roadmap generation, and advanced career tooling. Subscription fees, billing intervals, and cancellation terms are presented clearly at checkout. LightHouse Venture Studio reserves the right to adjust feature limits with reasonable advance notice.

Trailr’s experience points (XP), streaks, and institution leaderboards are designed to reward genuine career readiness progress. You agree not to manipulate, script, automate, or exploit the platform to artificially farm XP or inflate rankings. LightHouse Venture Studio reserves the right to audit, re-sum, or reset XP balances and disqualify users engaging in abusive activity.

• Platform IP: Trailr’s code, branding, interfaces, assessment engines, and proprietary algorithms remain the exclusive intellectual property of LightHouse Venture Studio.
• AI Career Roadmaps: Roadmaps, milestone frameworks, and learning pathways generated by the platform are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial educational use.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract platform code, assessment logic, or database records.
• Circumvent rate limits, subscription gates, or security controls.
• Impersonate other individuals, institutions, or partner organizations.

Trailr provides AI-assisted guidance and educational pathways on an “as-is” basis. We do not guarantee specific employment outcomes, admissions, or compensation levels. To the fullest extent permitted under Nigerian law, LightHouse Venture Studio disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, compromise platform security, or engage in malicious or abusive behavior.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any legal disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
